QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU START

Straight answers for student pilots.

Why a subscription instead of a one-time prep purchase?

A one-time prep tool gives you a fixed course. Pilot Training Flash Cards gives you a focused question bank, answer explanations, progress tracking, review queues, and streaks. Individual covers one course; Plus covers both PPL and Instrument Rating. Cancel anytime from your Subscriptions page.

Does it work offline?

Plus includes offline flashcard study in beta. Download up to 500 cards per course, answer without a connection, and your answers will sync when you reconnect. Offline packs expire after 7 days. AI Instructor, dashboards, and practice-test history still need a connection.

Are these the real FAA exam questions?

No. The FAA uses a secure exam question pool. These are original practice questions built around FAA knowledge-test topics and ACS references, with explanations to help you understand why an answer is right. This is a study aid, not an official FAA product.

What happens after the 7-day free trial?

A payment method is collected at checkout, but you are not charged until the 7-day trial ends. After that, your selected monthly or annual plan renews until you cancel. Cancel during the trial from your Subscriptions page to avoid the first charge.

Which plan should I choose?

Choose Individual if you are preparing for one written exam. Choose Plus if you want both the PPL and Instrument Rating question banks, deeper analytics, and offline flashcard study.

Can I try it before creating an account?

Yes. Try the five-question sample quiz without an account, then start the free trial when you want the full question bank, explanations, and progress tracking.
